Is PPF worth it on a leased car or am I wasting money?
Here's my situation, I'm leasing a car for three years and the lease agreement has pretty strict language about wear and tear. Dings and scratches beyond normal use get charged at the end. I keep going back and forth on whether to protect the paint or just accept the risk and pay whatever they charge at return. A friend said I'm crazy for even considering PPF on something I don't own, but another friend pointed out the penalty fees could easily cost more than the film itself. I looked at https://paintprotectionfilm.ae/ just to get a rough idea of pricing and it's not cheap but not insane either if it saves me hassle later. Has anyone here leased and gotten film applied? Did the leasing company care or even notice? And does it actually protect you from those return inspection charges or am I just overthinking this whole thing?
